Full Form: National Defence Academy Examination (NDA)
Purpose: The National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination is a national-level defence entrance examination conducted for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy (INA). It is one of the most prestigious examinations for students aspiring to become commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
Conducting Body: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board. For admission to the Army Wing, candidates from any stream are eligible. For the Air Force and Naval Wings, candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics in Class 12.
Age Limit: Candidates must satisfy the age criteria prescribed in the official UPSC notification for the respective examination cycle. Only unmarried male and female candidates within the notified age range are eligible to apply.
